Looking to get rid of the worthless ihi vj11 junk on my 323 but not sure if I need to deal with the extra lag or not. I'm runing 16 psi and I would like faster spool time but I'm not sure if the t25 can handle 16 psi.

I'll probly use Godspeed egay junk as my brother has been runing a t3 from them without issues with the oil restrictor

I figure you guys should be experts on these turbos by now. I'm not looking to make more power but I can't find a manifold with the flange I need so I'm forced to go with this route

I picked one up from over there for $50 and the rebuild kit was $100. Fully worth it. Had I known there was a 28rs varient from silvias, I would have found one of those instead.

Everything I read says the 2871 is good for 17-22 psi. Is that accurate? I'd like to be able to bump it up to 18 psi when needed

straight from garrett

"Disco Potato" refers to the Nissan Sentra (potato-shaped body) with psychadelic color-change paint (disco) that was fitted with one of the first GT2860RS' in a project car build. The name stuck.

If you end up getting a journal bearing turbo make sure you get it rebalanced when you get it.

Im sure a 2871r should be able to handle 18psi just make sure u got a nice intercooler too.

I'll hopefully be getting an fmic from a 2nd gen supra

I won't be in a hurry to get this done itl hopefully be back together by winter. As soon as I get the turbo itl be sent out to be looked over
