So I set out to tighten port "C" a little (being mindful that force wouldn't be needed), until it stopped. Well the barb broke off! Luckily, I have an EZ-Out kit, and was able to back it out by hand! I am trying to find out what sized barb I need for that port now.
Thanks for that The owner of Connors RC was able to meet up with me and I got the barb fittings. I pick up the syanpse tonight. Cant wait to try it out. I might be the first person on the forums to post a video of it on an MSP.
Where are you connecting your boost source...
i've been running mine with post c not connected all last year and i'm getting tired of surge at part throttle. It sound very loud recirculating in my cp-e intake.
Fittement was a pain for me with cp-e intake because the intake bend is too close. With stock box or any short ram intake it easy to install.
IM trying to look for a vacuum elbow in order to stop the hose out of hood ordeal im having... any ideas where to get some 10-32 fittings? ive check online with no real luck... Thanks
Another thing I am trying to find is plastic pneumatic hose. I want to see about replacing all of my silicone/rubber boost lines with this stuff. Check out this video:
They are designed to break off, before stripping out the threads. This whole thread gives good insight into the thought behind the design of products at Synapse, and why other manufactures (Tial) are frustrated...lol!!
