Summer dreaming/wishlist

So its summertime, youre out back in the hammock and you drift off thinking about your 5 which you just finished washing......In the middle of your dream you start to think about what you would ask Mazda to put into your 5 if you could help with the next design. What would you ask for? I know a few things I would want but I want to hear from the rest of the community. Nothing too far flung please, wings and rocket boosters are fun but not practical :)

practicals? bi-zenon headlights like the 2010+ mazda3, a stiffer suspension so it doesnt wallow all over the road, and a turbo :D

You want the suspension stiffer? Man you must really be hardcore about driving response! I think you really want one of these : http://www.supercars.net/cars/1672.html

if only! that thing is the awesome!

i just want to get rid of the wallowyness of the stock suspension - it feels like the controls are way underdamped. so far, the stock struts have only lasted 25,000 miles before letting go. we had to have the rears replaced twice since new. now that our car is out of warranty, i'm going to snag some koni yellows if the stocks blow out again. and while i'm in there, i want to upgrade the springs and sways too. it would have been nice if it was a little tighter from the factory.

3rd row 60/40 seats that can seat 3 (in a pinch), making it an 8 seater! All they have to do is get rid of the cup holders, which can be placed somewhere else, say floor? This would really put the car in a class of its own. Granted the power and safety thing is another discussion.

Roof racks standard.

Trim off 1-2 inches from the rear bumper so it does not stick out so much.

Rear hatch glass can be open independently.

Not sure if stock headlights are projector headlights, but if not, it should be the standard (Bi-zenon would be nice but wouldn't want to pay for the markup).

6 map lights instead of just the 2 up front. Turbo. I still would like 2 inches behind the rear seat to make that cargo area actually useful when all seats are up. Just BEHIND the rear wheels, not in the wheelbase, to keep the weight gain minimal.

The rear shocks are under the cupholders. Not much room there.

The only Mazdas that don't have projectors are the Mazda 2, Tribute, and B-Series.

I want OEM mudflaps available for the GT.

And remote start options made available to owners and instructions to dealer on how to
do it.
-- a. like for the doors to automatically lock after everyone is seated and secured and car starts to move forward.

---b. For the doors to automatically unlock the moment I remove the key from the ignition
(or the moment I turn off the engine).

These features came with the remote start I installed in my old buick. And it was very
convenient. And cool.

A simple heating/ cooling system. No auto. I want the temperature control to always be active so I can change the temp of the vented air with the system is off.

Funny you should mention that, Ive been meaning to post about this. You can change it, just not much. One click gives one degree, any more gives 2 degrees only. You can change it up or down, not sure why there is a limit though. Yes, I was really bored that day......... lol
