Well, I picked up a used SU test pipe cheap and I was wondering if I should buy any of the gaskets for it, that SU sells on thier site, based on some of the fitment issues I have been hearing about. SU offers 2 different gaskets on thier site - one round and the other oval with flanges. Did anyone who installed this part buy these gaskets and if so which one?

The donut/pivot gasket that connects the test pipe to the downpipe will probably be fine to reuse. You will likely need a flange gasket for connecting the test pipe to the cat-back exhaust. SU wants $13 for one which is flat ridiculous. If it's worth you saving the time of going to a parts store or an exhaust shop then be my guest, but that gasket is worth about $3.00. I'd send you one, but I only have 3" ID flange gaskets and you need 2.5".

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I thought there were a ripoff as well, I just wanted to know which gaskets I would need.

if i were to go to a store like autozone would they carry this gasket and if so which one should i ask for?

I too want to know this because I just picked up a used su tp as well. But as a note I'm already reusing the stock gasket with the cpe catback I have on my car

I took my TP in and they found a graphite gasket that fit. It worked for a short time, then burnt up. I ended up using the copper gasket fix as a permanent solution and had no trouble.
