Stock Shocks

Anyone have any trouble with there stock shocks?? Noticed my car has been hitting harder and harder on the rear and when i looked in under it today i seen that the shocks are covered in oil.

covered in oil= blown....time for an upgrade.

thats odd.. first time ive ever heard someone blowing stock shocks on the forum.. what springs were u running.. would be even odder if you had stock springs.. but yes they are blown and need to be replaced ASAP.. its not that hard to do.. 3 hours max.. then youll need an alignment.. u might as well do coilovers or a spring upgrade while your in there.. koni makes good shocks.. depending on where u want to go with the car.. a Rear sway bar or differental mount might as well be done too.. ohh and rear endlinks.. lol.. thats over $1000 in parts i just listed.. but ull love it..

Its very strange, i don't abuse the car and its stored every winter so no rough road driving, i could count on 1 hand how many times I've had people in the back seat and it only has 37000km on it. I could see 1 faulty one but not 2 of them gone

Got an appointment for next Tuesday to get new ones under warranty! Wants to get as much outta the warranty as i can from now till June when it expires

Do you need an alignment after the shock replacement?? Would be great to get a free alignment lol

you should ask them about getting an alignment done.just to be on the safe side.. and considering the work being done is under warrenty the alignment should be free..
