naa, they're easier to mount that way (you can see where the center of the hub is). Once again...they're my race wheels, so I don't have to look at em all the time or anything lol
would i need to sand the stock alloys or can i just paint right over them???? im not really to worried about the look but if it wont hold well with out sanding then id rather spend the time and do it right...they will only be my winter ties but i still want them to look decent, you know what i mean
if ur gonna be painting onto the wheel directly, I'd say def sand and prime it. Just get some cheapo metal / alloy primer in a spray can from wherever, just to give the paint something to stick to
This shall probably be on my next to do list. I have a few minor parts to order so I might do this come time for the installs. Plus, I'm planning to paint my headlight housings black at that time.
I just have to decide on a color.
I have a sunlight silver p5 and I'm going for a black, silver, and white pallet for my car.
Hahaha. Hells yeah! There's more work that I'm going to do along with the painting. One being a full brake pad change which is why I was thinking of painting the wheels since I'll have them off anyway. I guess jackstands would help wouldn't they....
I was thinking of a semi-gloss black maybe. And thanks for the pic, dude. Agreed, that is a nice ride.
