steering column gauge pod?

APC Universal Gauge Pod

This is what I'm planning on using. If I'm going to have to glue something to my steering column, I might as well save the $60 bucks. How much would a new steering column cover cost?

You could probably just buy a spare one and use it and the cup and make your own.

The cup looks cool.

Will the bottom of the pod contour to the top of the steering column? How does it attach?

I hope so and I don't know. I think there were screw holes, but I'd probably just end up using silicone or glue of some sort. I wonder if it'll pass tech for track days.

I used this cup (VDO brand) for my Integra. I ended up cutting the base permiter (the verticle surounding square) so that the base bottom lays flat (horizontal area). Good doubleside 3M tape works well. Furthermore, you can paint to match or as I did, I used glue then fleck painted it, then painted the entire sterring column (top with pod) and bottom flat black.

Cheers!

Thanks for posting on this. Wow that is a bbbeautiful set up. I love how its all Greddy!!

As for your question, from the looks of the thread. I think what your looking for is fairly common nowadays, Check autozone/advance/cap, if not Ebay for even cheaper. Sunpro sells the mounts with a CHEAP boost gauge as a package. I THINK, its sunpro. Might be an Autometer package. Cant remember.
