How secure is it attached to the bumper? Is it possible for someone to yank it off?

It is attached to the bumper pad by 3M tapes on the full perimeter (all four sides).
I guess one can always yank it off if one tries very hard, but it probably would also be damaged in the process. In that sense, I guess no one is gonna steal it.

If someone read this, this rear bumper may be stolen

Thieves steal stuff to resell it.
If a product is damaged in the process, no one will buy it. Therefore, no one will steal it.
Unless someone steal stuff for one's own use. That is rare.
I won't lose sleep over it being stolen.

Besides, a side mirror probably worths much more than that.
- break the window
- pull out the trim piece
- loosen three screws
- done in 1 minute (mirror intact)
