So I was just driving along in the slow lane today on the highway getting 40mpg when I heard a honk, then saw a blue mazda 2 pass me! Anyone here in north GA near Lilburn today on Ronald Regan?
That's awesome. I honk at every 2 I see and usually wave at any modded mazda. I've waved at at least 50-100 and I've never even got anyone to look over at me..haha
Yea, I was psyched. There was another time I pulled up next to a guy in a 2 at a light and waved at him. He gave me a weird look and then reluctantly waved.
When I had my miata it seemed everyone waved at me. The middle-aged ladies in their miatas, mazda 3's, rx-7's and -8's, and even other makes. And on the highway many people actually moved over into the right lane for me. I was always shocked at the reactions I got when driving that car. It did look alot more aggressive than the 2 though which I'm sure had alot to do with it. By far more attention than I got in any other car.
Most of the time, people only "move over" to cut me off as they see me approaching. Maybe they're afraid the sprited green paint will scorch their retinas if they get behind me.
