Spool Prototype For Msp

Hey Terry,

I was reading somewhere that the MSP already has a high flow cat on it? Is this b.s. from Mazda or what? Just curious....

P.S. see you at the BBQ! :D

Terry...

YOU DA MAN!! hem-hem

Now...my question is this...you're doing an hard pipe replacemnt for the stock i/c piping...that's awesome, but...will it have a flange for mounting a different BOV/BPV? Also...will it avoid the Injen Intake, which goes straight from the wheel well to the turbo? Also (2)...will that really do any good other than looking pretty and keeping a little heat out?

Hey I guess I had 3 questions...but they should all be pretty easy answers! Thanks, man...you rock!

Our hardpipe kit will be able to work with an HKS or Type-s setup. Everything should work with the injen intake........Are you talking about the I/C pipes??
pm me when the exhaust comes out... and the fmic kit too if its in my price range...
A public announcement will be made;)

They are not installed yet on my car. It won't happen till about the first of August. With Terry just getting everything together here at the new site and then having to get everything together for the Open House he just won't have time to get to my car until after then. I know that he has some peeps in FL with some similar set-ups so he may be able to give you info on them.

well **** me. guess that 3 week time he said it would take 2 weeks ago means it won't be done next week. shoulda figured. this has been an abortion from the get go

a clue as into what twiztie ? A clue, as to NO FAHQING ONE HAS A SINGLE UPGRADE FOR THE MSP (one that actually helps the msp, other then the injen) I know this, and it saddens me.

no,a clue about the month my car sat in my garage with all the plastic turbo, intercooler, and intake pipes missing because Spool had them and were making hardpipes for them.

Where did you get 3 weeks time???? I didn't see that in this thread? It may be sooner, but considering the move and him trying to find anyone around here who knows anything about turbo's. Well that takes time and when you are in the Richmond area, well you will be lucky if you can find a person who knows how to tie their shoes let alone work on turbos.
I don't quite understand the abortion thing??? Sorry humor lost on me....and no I am not one of those that doesn't know how to tie their shoes!

Okay so I just read this so ignore my other post!
I don't know what to tell ya. I was just relaying what was told to me to you. I guess you need to talk to Terry about it.

Twisted..........first I dont want to sound like a rat bastard but UPS lost your shipment......so that was not our fault...........Second we made the pipes, we sent them to you and then they did not fit, we realized this and I told you we would need a car on hand to do it since sending the pipes back and forth would accomplish nothing..............Third, I promised you a set and maybe I should have told u 6 months or something, but we just moved 5 states NORTH!.......and this has caused a delay on our pending orders. The deal was you loan us your pipes and get a new set for free. Unfortunaltly this has taken longer than expected but thats what happens when prototyping is involved. On top of it.....its free;)
I apologize for taking longer than promised but you will get them in time. We just have not had either the time nor willing donars to work it out.

Well until Cirielle came along;)

Unfortunaly a company cannot develop something overnight for mass production....it takes time. First you need to make the template, then this has to be double checked, then a Jig has to be made, then an intial production run.........then its ready.

I just dont want to be portrayed here as someone not keeping there word. Whenever somebody has had issues with anything I try to fix it as quickly as possible. I am on this site several times a week and communicate via PM, email and phone to keep everyone happy........not to many manufacturers do this ;)

no no no, Terry, like i said. i wasn't trying to bash you or the business. i'm just kind of leary now with doing business and ordering parts. after getting dicked with the whole Apex downpipe no CEL issue and come to find out within 22 hours after installation, looky what i got, a ******* CEL!!! then there's the hard pipes, i won't go into the whole story but i probably should have made it more clear earlier, NO, it was not Terry's fault that the delay happened. yes,UPS did lose the parts and i still swear Tom Hanks was off on some island making wild and crazy big ass bongs with them.

all is well, sort of for the most part atleast. deffinetly great customer service, spent a good deal of time on the phone with Terry going over this stuff.

sorry for the misrepresentation. maybe one of these days if i sell a kidney or a nut or something i'll buy a turbo upgrade. on a side note though. i am working out some plans to come down to the open house, so you may get the chance to beat my ass with those pipes:eek:
