Soo, after finally getting a new DD and finishing up the repairs on that, its about time to start adding power to the MS6. I need new summer tires first and foremost, but after that I'll start looking to mod. The question I have is for all you heavy (and not so heavy) modders is how much $$ have you put into your MS6?

It seems like this car will quickly become a burning hole in my wallet

I just counted mine up this morning, i got about $2250 into mine. My favorite mod is the Cobb AP, i love the ability to data log , tune, launch control, flat foot shifting, etc.

I dont have ETS TMIC installed yet, so no word on that... I think with all the bolt ons (intake, turbo inlet, TMIC, turbo back exhaust) this car will run the way i want it too. Its a lot of money but in the end ill have a car thats practical for daily driver and a hoot to drive.

I'm on the "not so heavy" modding side... just about $2178 put into the car, mods listed in sig.

I can just imagine some of the other guys on this forum... lol

im about $15k including purchase price and mods so far. not bad considering i got it in 06 with 12k miles. :)

hmmm..

technically I have spent more than is on it. but over 4,000 im guessing so far or close to it. Have had it 6 months

if your a smart consumer like me you wont spend as much as you need to.
for power mods goes as follows
cobb sf intake: $120 (used)
cobb tip: $165 (new)
SU test pipe: $30 (used)
CP-E cat back, no muffler: $330 (used)
so thats a total of: $645

Lol... my suspension alone was just over $1,000.00, plus $160.00 to install then $200.00 for an alignment. That's where more then half of my costs come from.

If you want some serious gains I would think of downpipe, meth injection, upgraded intercooler and Cobb AP.

mine would be around 800 for....tints, stock brake job, oem mazda 6 wheels with winter tires, and tune up ( spark plugs, filter for cai etc ). thats it for me :) cause as soon as i pay off my loan im getting a 03-04 svt cobra for summer! than i can put money into that.
