Whats up people new to the site I have a99 dx I just got a map cluster plugged it in it all works except temp gauge just says car is alll the way at h anyone know why???

The 99-00 clusters have different readings for the ect sensor. The easiest way to upgrade to a tach is to get a cluster from a 99-00 lx. I have a cluster from a 99-00 lx with 174k miles. I can post up pics if you are interested...

Is it possible to install the gauge cluster from a 01-03 protege in a 99-00? I was interested in using the white faced gauges with red lighting.

The cluster reads a different value for the coolant temp sensor. That's the main problem...

Whats the best solution to this? Can you replace the coolant temp sensor, or coolant temp gauge and use the 01+ gauge cluster?
