Speeding up the forum suggestion

I know I'll get flamed for recommending this but I say disable file uploading. If people really seek the need to share their pics they can learn how to use IIS and dns2go or something like that.

I've hit the stop button many times and have gone somewhere else lately due to the pages loading painfully slow.

Numerous suggestions have been made by members and to my knowledge none of them have been implemented. Most people point fingers and then follow up with "donate."

yeah I know it is slow.. we are going to have to go with a dual xeon.. but it's twice as expensive.

1) try to disable uploading and remove all the crap on the server as a temporary fix

2) how much do you need right now to upgrade, because frankly im sick of waiting for this damn website to load, although by all means dont think im not very grateful for the service this site provides!

well before you all run to spend money, I am going to upgrade to the new VBulletin tomorrow. that was what the developers suggested. of course, that is the standard answer for any developer.. "upgrade to the latest version"
