Sniper Killer, will he get caught?

I live close to the area where all these killings are taking place. After this latest shooting it is obvious the sniper is trying to terrorize everyone in the area no matter who they are, and where they are. He seems to be doing everything the media "thinks" he is not.

when they were talking about how "he only kills on the weekdays" he goes and shoots that guy on saturday night.

Then they think they caught him, let up on their survellance and then he goes to the original location and kills a guy just today.


WTF? I don't think he will be caught for awhile. What do you all think of this?

The government should supply the people of virginia with bullet proof vest's. As far as getting caught this guys a pro, he knows what he's doing and i doubt he'll be caught any time soon. People of virginia keep you third eye open cause ya never know who's next.

eventually...yes. I just don't think real soon. I believe its obvious to the authorities that this person has been trained in this "art". which makes him all that more dangerous....as in less likely to make a mistake.....but eventually he will. As he will get more and more confident and start to believe that he CAN NOT be caught...and that will be their down fall.

As far as bullet proof vests, you would have to wear metal plates to prevent a .223 rounds from penetrating a body. That stuff is heavy as heck.

not to mention that its nose is quite small, maing penitration of a vest quite easy....and throw in the fact that IF he were to sue FMJ ammo...it would be like a knife blade...and go right through it like a hot knife on butter, a T-Shirt would do you just as much good.

Yeppers, a regular level II vest will stop everything, except a knife, up to a shot gun slug in velocity and size. That includes all pistol rounds. A .223 round, or any other long gun (minus shotguns) for that matter, will fly right through the vest I am wearing right now (level II).

A level III will stop a knife, but weighs another two to three pounds more. And when you start at two or three pounds for the level II, that weight gets annoying after awhile. And a .223 round will go right through it.
