Does Anyone Know Sneeky Pete NOS System?

Will This work on my Mazda Protege 5
2.0L engine??

I did a search and came up w/ nothing.

ummm... from the information you gave me about the system in that post.. im gonna say... yes it will work... but then.. with that kind of information.. the answer may be no..

Sneaky pete is made by NOS....its basicly just a small fogger system with an extremely small bottle of N20 so it's easier to hide. I can't remember right off, but I think it's the typical manual arming swicth and WOT activation switch.

I'm not a squeezer myself.... dont ever really plan to be... well unless i feel worthy enough... once my motor is built to the specs i want.. then maybe.. but i hate these folks that buy a car and immediately just stick a NOS system in it because they are too lazy, too broke, or dont actually appreciate the car enough to build it up to spec.... they figure instead of actually being an enthusiast and tuning my car i'll just mix some of this magical juice in the engine and go fast!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

i mean.. come on... take the time to appreciate your car and put money into it... NOS is just to... well.. i guess the best word would be "easy" for me.... i mean a 16 yr old kid that had daddy buy him a protege could stick a NOS system in it and be comparable to Linux or Spoolin... that is just wrong...

Thanks for the note of sarcasm...but i cannot afford 3 thousand dollars right now....that why i figure to get this installed for now...than in about 1 year time...upgrade to a turbo...

But once again back to my question at hand!

Will this kit work on my 2.0L engine?

oh no no no.. i wasn't talkin s*** on you man... i totally feel for you.. you wanna go fast and dont have cash... just like my broke ass... but i've just decided to go the route of saving, waiting, and wishing...

I'd love to squeeze for a bit... but its the principal of the thing for me

Hmmm... A 10oz bottle? Depending on what size jets the thing has, I don't think you would be happy with your gains from this kit. I don't think the volume of the container would be enough to put out the power gains you might be looking for.... When my 10lb bottle got down to ~700 PSI I usually wanted to refill it, I would guess a 10oz bottle would be gone almost immediately. I guess all I am saying is don't expect the kit to provide a lot of power. It is a pretty neat looking kit though.

The sneaky peat system is ONLY for carb applications it has no means of fuel enrichment. This kit will not work on your car.

Thats settled...lol...but can it be adapted for use with fuel injected engines? Obviously the name implies the system is design to be hidden and used to for that last bit of umph or to shave of those last few tenths of a second on the strip.

What hp shot is it designed to push and for how long?

I'm not one to use NOS...but the S P is an interesting idea.

YOu could convert it but at the cost to convter it you would have to buy a new fogger lines fittings and a fuel solenoid and now you just have a wet kit with a VERY VERY small bottle i mena we are talkin like 3 seconds of nitrous use here. IOW just go on ebay and get a decent used wet kit for about the same price.

I believe the Sneeky Pete kit is a dry shot....i don't see why i couldn't use it by plugging it into my intake.

My plan is to run a 35 shot...i know i will only be able to get 1 or 2 races at most...

My idea is that i won't squeeze all the time and blow up my engine like People with the 5lb & 10 lb bottles who have so much nos that they shoot all the time...

also...i don't like the idea of having all the components showing if a cop pulls me over...this way..i can hide the 10oz bottle underneath the E brake..where i can turn it on and off real quick..and won't need to buy a remote bottle opener..and a warmer.

Also if i want to add another one...there is enough room for 2 bottles..underneathe the e-brake...

i was thinking about getting nos too, but i wasnt sure which kit to get.(nos,nx etc...)
