Being on another one of my now famous 36 hour work shifts I am seeing alot of people logging off for bed then back on later on during the night or day. Makes me wonder everyones usual sleeping habbits.

Seems like several members get only a few hours of sleep a night(omg)

i am up all hours of the night usually, and still somehow manage to wake up for work.

I usually sleep from 12:00 til 7:00 on weeknights. I dunno, I find I perform better with 7 hours of sleep rather than 8?!? I think thats the average for people though.

heh i sleep from 6am-9am and then 4pm-7pm....total about 6 hrs...most of the times less...

Hmm sleep, I guess thats the time I pass out between 0200/0300 and 0600.
It sucks till you start doing enough times and develope a rythmn.

Same here... I feel sluggish and generally crappy if I sleep more than 8 or so hours... I get about 6 hours per night most nights, which seems to suffice. I could sleep all day long on a work day, but I wake up at 7:00AM on the weekends without fail... Strange stuff.

There is such a thing as to much sleep, for me thats about 5-6 hours. At that rate I just want to stay in bed and not get up for the rest of the day :)

My sleep schedule is so f'ed up it's not funny.
Mon sleep from 5:00pm to 8:30pm
Tue, Wed, I usually sleep form 12:00am. to 8:30pm.
Thur Sleep about 9:00pm to 7:00am or so
Fri Sleep from 7:00pm to 9:30pm
Sat, sleep from 1:00am to 11:00am
Sun, sleep from 11:00pm to 7:00am.....

That's assuming my work schedule is the same that week, often times I have to work a 2nd shift sometime and it throws me off.

Sleep, hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. My body tells me when I can and can't sleep. I can be dead-ass tired, but my body aches (herniated cervical disk and 2 bad knees) will not let me sleep. I usually try to go to bed between 1 or 2AM and get up around 8AM. What usually happens is that I go bed around 1 or so, then my body says get up at like 3 or 4 am, then I go downstairs to the couch and toss and turn for a few hours, then go back upstairs and do the same. The f'd up part is, I spent like $2500 on one of those sleep # bed set-ups and I can sleep better on a lumpy 4 year old Lazy Boy sofa, which actually was a waste of another $1100. Oh well, sleep is over rated anyway.

peace

usually about 1 or 2am-8am on weeknights. i'm tired during the day sometimes, but if i try to go to bed earlier, i just lie there awake. so i just don't try for early bedtimes anymore.
