Grimace you cannot buy Sirius radio in Canada, because of the CRTC , wtf is wrong with these idiots. However all you need to do is give them a fake address for the US, that is what I plan on doing, well actually I am going to use my Michigan office. I am not sure if this offer applies to us since we are already have the deck, guess we would have to call and find out

Hey thats the same with Direct TV..i know when i worked for best buy we use to sell direct Tv dishes to people from canada...we got in a big mess of s***(hey i didnt know)

Yeah the CRTC are a bunch of dumb old farts, we can't buy American satellite because it does not have enough Canadian content. We are supposed to live in a free society and we have to put up with crap like this. You know the good thing though, I dont pay for directv or Tivo because they cant sell it to me so I am watching Wrestlemania for free

Yeah,

The CRTC regs are to help Canadian acts and productions, but other than limiting the amount of American broadcast we have access to they don't so s*** to help Canadian talent.

They really don't regulate too much of what we watch. We can't legally get networks like HBO and or Showtime, and obviously Sirius but it's not too bad.

Our satellite providers would be much better off if they'd be able to offer HBO at the very least.
