Reserved the last BEGI kit today.

Correct. The valve Corky has included recirculates the air. There really isn't any performace change in either valves, both do the job. I just prefer the sound!!!

BTW, I gave up ont he greddy and ordered the flyin Miata Valve that Wshade has. It will fit perfect.

Well, I just got my car back, and damn I will be broke till the end of the year! It is just like it is new. Total price for all repairs:

A whopping $4500!
(omg)

I am debating whether to even put the turbo on.

I WILL be going ahead with the turbo installation (hopefully this weekend), and have upgraded my bypass valve to a Flyin Miata Aluminum one. I hope to have it on Wednesday.

NICE CHOICE!!!! The FM one rules and looks nice too. I hope to have some pics of my setup soon.

BTW raced a celica GTS last night.. Those things are pretty quick. I had him from 0-60 easy-by at least a car legnth.. But when I slowed down and we were side by side and we both gunned it-he had me. It's because I was in 4th and my rpms were low..

He's just lucky I'm only boosting 6psi. hehe

Well, last night I had a big ass headache, but it's gone, and I started my Turbo Install this morning! I already have the manifold and CAT off, and am working on the oil pan. Wish me luck!

GL, Linux. Let us know total hours you put in, if you're having someone help you, and if so, how many total MAN hours go into the job!

When we installed my turbo it took us 3 full days before we had it running fairly well. 2 guys working using jack stands and an air gun about 25 man hours.

Using a lift would have cut the time a bunch.

I need help right now, but no one is available.:( I need to go to the hardware store/Autozone, and I am stuck! And without Transprotation! I would not count my total MAN hours if I were you!

Just one thing to say LinuxRacr, take your time! Don't try to rush it and make mistakes that can cost you more time and money.

I just thought I would update this thread. For all of you who have been reading the other threads, you know that I am one with the DARKSIDE now. That's right, BOOST! It pulls, and pulls hard!

Well, last night one of my hose clamps to the compressor outlet into the Intercooler came loose. I will be fixing that this morning, cause I accually have to go to work in the daytime! Get this, I will be payed for going to play Lazertag, Bowling, and Arcade Gaming!!:D

Well, I got it clamped back up, but it seems that it will eventually slip off again! I think I need a longer section of connector hose. The oil leak did not help either! Lots of kinks to work out!
Setbacks!(piss)

yessir...

I think a note to FM is that the new kits need to have longer hose pieces. Maybe up to a full inch longer.

The only leak i have right now is a coolant leak-the second connection to the radiator hose extention leaks. That is another area that gave us some trouble making things fit right.

Has anyone gone to 8psi after installing the fix?

Yep, I agree! The hose connectors need to be at least an inch longer!

I don't have the fix yet, so no unless Wshade already has it.
I didn't have any problems with the hoses other then the one connected to the turbo. The bend on the pipe seems like it was a little off, not the hoses legnth though. Also I attached the hose and clamp to one side first then pushed it on to the other which seemed to work best.

This is exactly the issue I had. I solved it the same way! The bend is definitely off! That oil leak caused this section to come loose I think. This is seriously ******* with my drivability!
