You can always stick with the FS-ZE route...I thought one set of the pistons were larger...Between the Mazdaspeed pistons and the FS-ZE pistons.

I forget which was larger.

That really sucks though...That means you'll have to get custom sized pistons.

I'm not sure if Linux is interested in rods, but I know they will sure help. I briefly spoke to Pauter Machine and they claimed they have billet rods for the FS motor.

They'll do Titanium too

Well, my block supposedly got sent to the machine shop today, and I believe that they found me some oversized pistons. I hope to have my car back next week. I am optomistic.

Linux since money and time is of concern to you and you have a Japanese spec motor, I would buy a tec3 or haltech and tune your motor N/A into a beast. Less problems and complications. Turbos produce lots of torque.........what if you braek something?? Will you have money to fix it? Atleast this way you have some money left over for upgraded stuff like clutches ect.

I see what you are saying, but I have prepped for this turbo, and am in for the longrun now. I have already upgrade my clutch with an ACT.

I talked to the shop again, and they informed me that the overbore pistons won't be in until Tuesday at least of next week. They will then send the block off to the machine shop with the pistons. More delays!!! (argh)

Here is an update. They finally got a full set of piston rings, and get this: ONLY 3 PISTONS! :mad: :mad: This was not the shop's fault, but the supplier. :wtf: So as fo now they are tracking down that last piston. My birthday is Tuesday, and I won't be rollin.:'( This sucks!!

Oh yeah, The shop manual is definitely worth it! It tells you how to do just about everything...in detail!
