so patrick are you really ditching the kit for a MAM setup?

Yep. I already have everything at home except for a few pieces (like hose clamps and couplers). I just dread having to re-tune my ride after the changeover.

lol.... dude, If I were around I'd give you a hand... but I am going to be pretty busy this summer. damn work

Not all of us had flying miata around to install it, tune it, upgrade it, and patch it up as needed for us.

Not to mention, all of us expected / wanted more power then the kit was capable of delivering.

i'm pretty satisfied with the kit. my attentions have since turned to piston-less engines :D

When I had the car it eally drove and felt great. It felt like a FAST car. At 8psi it wasn't exactly slow... Ran good on the MPI and would've put down 200-205 to the wheels if dyno'd.... But to make the next step and gain the power I wanted I would;ve had to invest WAYYYY more then I'd be willing. Plus it's still FWD.

So logically the next step was to move on to a different platform- capable of much larger power and a higher level of potential. But don't get me wrong- The MP3 was an awesome car and worth the time I put into it.

All we did was install it. Never really got a good tune.

I had to do that on my own later, and replace my fuel pump.

I went over the mountain once for the install. I never made it back over for other stuff.
