I have an annoying rattle that I believe is some loose wiring between the package shelf cover and the sheet metal. How do you remove the cover? Thanks.

you prolly want to post this in the general forum, as the how-to is designed for already written up information.

i'm sure a mod can move it for you...

I don't have photos but...

Step 1) Fold seats down. If you have a MS6 you'll have to remove the center trunk liner piece and toggle the release switches by hand. There is a how-to on that somewhere.

Step 2) Remove The sides of the rear seat. I believe there are two spring-loaded clips on the backs of the seat sides. Reach behind and fiddle or use a flash light to see what is going on. Don't pull to hard...they should spring back and let go without too much effort.

Step 3) Remove the C-pilar panels. I'm not sure if this is a "must" but I did it so I didn't have to fold the cover when pulling it out. If you have side airbags you may want to disconnect the battery so you don't accidently trigger them (I'm paranoid about stuff like that)

Step 4) Remove the cover by first popping the snaps in the front and then pulling it toward the front of the car. When you flip it over you will see that there are slot clips that need to slide back in perfectly when you replace it.

thanks for posting that chuyler. now this can stay here ;)
