My remote start died yesterday; tried both keys and no response from car. I thought maybe i'd accidentally put it in valet mode, but that's not it. Even valet mode is supposed to beep at me when I try to use it.
Wondering if anybody has any ideas about what could be wrong. I installed the Audiolink IPOD adapter about a week ago and I'm hesitant to take it in to the dealer with the Audiolink onboard, lest they blame me for the problem. Remote start worked fine for a week after the Audiolink went in.
My guess is something jarred loose. I looked at the remote-start installation instructions and it looks like they use several wire-taps which tend to be unreliable. Remote start was a factory install, though.
