Questions from a new MS6 owner, please help.

I was hoping to get some answers and just looking around the site has already helped.

I definitely think I have the intermittent power loss, I can stomp it and feels way hesitent and takes a while to build power. Is this correct and how do I fix it? Mazda place? I was thinking it could be from the after market blow off valve not being installed properly but when I read that forum it seemed more like that.

I would also like to get a shark fin antenna and get rid of the long spiral but want it to function properly. Any ideas on where and how much?

check your air filter. if u havent changed it in awhile its time to.
as for the shark fin i got mine from http://sharkfinantenna.com/ but there might be cheaper ones on other sites.

I got my shark fin from RPM, colour matched and ready to install.

The symptoms you have seem to be pretty common, and there are a few theories and approaches on how to fix it... upgraded fuel pump, ECU flashes, AP tuning... honestly I'm not sure if there is a guaranteed fix for it, but there are many more around here who can get you a much better answer.

To take the blatantly obvious approach (hopefully without offending you), are you used to turbo cars and the turbo lag that's inherent in their design?

This is my first turbo, have a spec-v sentra and a trans am. I'm taking it to the Mazda place Fri hopefully. Got the car cheap and I'm hoping for an easy fix. Got thr fin at RPM. As for the loss of power I'm going to keep my fingers crossed. Thanks guys, any other help would be appreciated.

cleaning the MAF seemed to get me the best bang for buck on clearing up any hesitation i was getting (get electronics spray from auto parts store, take out the two screws holding the MAF to the intake assembly, spray.)
