Question about warranty on MS6

I have after market ASA AS1 rims on my ms6. Recently I broke an axle just driving on the highway. If i bring it to the dealership to fix, do you think they will blame the problem on the rims? The rims and tires are made for the ms6 on tirerack.com. Should I put the stock rims back on before bringing it in? thanks

They shouldn't deny your warranty because of aftermarket rims. However if you have the opportunity to put the stockers back on you might as well to avoid any confusion as to what the problem is.

They would have to prove your wheels caused the problem. It depends on how pigheaded your dealership is. But I agree with chuyler1, if you have the chance to put it back to stock, it would be a wise decision so you don't have to worry about any thing.
