Question about electronics

I was looking at the GReddy site and I came across the Profec B boost controller and also a turbo timer. I was wondering if they are universal? I believe that the turbo timer is universal but I am not all that familiar with the ProFec B. Is the Profec a good boost controller too? Anyone have it on here that could testify for it? Thanks.
