Put in the DaveB rings today...

Thanks to Jose for the awesome instructions and of course the rings haha!

I don't think there were any major issues w/the install besides the screwdriver being too long to get the bezel out.

I did have one question, though. Are these rings ment to cover the black plastic ALL THE WAY to the gauge face? I can see a little bit of a black strip about 1mm wide at the end by the face and I'm wondering if that's how they are supposed to look or if I just didn't put'em in all the way.

I even tried using some needle-nose pliers and the rings didn't move in any more. I probably could've put more muscle in it but I didn't really feel like snapping the plastic and having to order a new plastic piece or (knowing my luck) a whole new cluster.

if u mean that they push against the gauge, then no, there is a little space, but pics would help clarify what u mean

you have it right steve. there is a very small space between the gauge face and the bottom of the ring. i forgot to mention that you would need a short handle phillips, sorry about that (hand)

Jose no problem I got it off anyways! It was a fun experience and the whole time I was thinking "don't you ******* hit the needle whatever you do!"
