Protge321's Turbo Build

damn, this is going to require more down time than i expected. i will have to take it to a shop for welding..

where can i find a -10 weld bung?

Shouldn't be that bad, it took around 2 days and $30 for mine to get done.

You could get a -10 from atp's website.

ordered up a prosport oil temp, oil pressure and boost gauge yesterday. the list is getting smaller and smaller!

by next tuesday/wednesday ill be looking for an ecu, any help spotting some for sale would be great, thanks. (thumb)

that is what im putting in the oil pan and my return line is.. its really hard to bend so i want it as close if not directly below the trubo drain flange.

would you guys mind putting a picture of the location of it on the oil pan?
Exact things I bought to run my oil drain.
Holy crap DJ Dub that helps me a lot I already know what I'll be looking at and for when I go to put all my Turbo parts in. Thanks for posting that up.

No problem dude, thats why I took the pics when the motor was out the car. I know how hard it is to imagine all the stuff installed if you've never done it before and I would of loved it if someone would of had real good pics to look at.

i think oil pan is steel by the way

ya its steel

Thanks for the correction (2thumbs)

ya those are some great pics...im sure they will help alot of people. sure would have helped me when i first started researching

for real, good pics
but why didnt you just run the line around the down pipe?
heres mine
Photo0426.jpg

it goes around the downpipe and connects to a 45 degree -10an fitting on the turbo, its a tight fit

The end of my oil return has an L connector so I can't run it straight into the fitting like yours

a foot lol

i ordered a 2foot section to replace it already so i can have more room down there

dude i hope thats not just jb welded in there

oh and nah, i welded it on there but had a leak, so i put jb weld on there
only to find out the leak was from the oil pan no the bung

so i have to grind that off whenever i get a chance, cuz it looks like crap
