I'm looking for a more upscale sun visor to put into the P5. Mine are worn out, and I'd rather put in something nicer than the stock vinyl ones. Does anybody know if a sun visor from another Mazda would fit? I'd think the 626 would be similarly sized (it looks like they have the same mounting points).

Hmmm, some black or charcoalish ones would be nice to contrast the gray up there IMO. Let us know what you find. Maybe something out of newer 3 or Miata?
That's kind of what I'm thinking. I'd even love some gray ones in a nicer material. I was hoping somebody with another mazda model could measure theirs and post up the results. Otherwise, I may just have to start picking up different visors off ebay after the first of the year and see what fits.
I was thinking about trying to take the 'homelink' garage door opener out of one of the ford sun visors and see if I could put it in mine... maybe a better idea than just buying random ones off ebay would be to take yours out and go to a wrecking yard or something to see if anything else out there is close?

That's strange, those are the places that will rip you off too. We have a place called wrench-a-part in austin that lets you walk around and pull whatever you want, $2 to get in. According to the website there is a lubbock location, but they only have one protege right now, a 2000 model.
