problems after new car battery

so i just got in installed about 30 mins ago and i have problems now. 1: setting the clock. i set the clock on the nav but on the dash it doesnt change. hrs and mins are off. it just shows the correct time on the nav system. WTF?!?!? please help!!!

The sytems aren't sync'ed in anyway? Why did you get a new battery? What problems were you experiencing prior to changing the battery? Did you just upgrade to a better battery? Battery shouldn't have needed replacing after just 3 years... Especially in the perfect weather of SoCal, no cold starts or anything...

i needed a new one. had to have some one juice me up 3 times in the past 2 weeks. plus i got my car in 06 and its about to hit 50,000 miles. had no problems prior to changing.

So, there isn't a seperate manual way to enter the time into the dash clock? Or a way to synchronize the nav and dash?

if u have different headunit you will not be able to set clock in dash without hooking up the mazda unit that was in the car an 3 years is about average life of the factory battery

yes i have read the manual. it shows how to do it with nav system and without. i have nav and i change it normally on the nav but this time it wont change on the dash. it did it all the time before
