Man, I just need to go buy a owners manual instead of asking these stupid questions.

Anyway, On my 08 m5 The pass airbag light comes on everytime i start to notify me its off.

If it is even there, I have no idea (just like my 6 disc changer buttons.) I was wondering if there is a switch of some sort to turn this pass. airbag on?

Sorry for the lame questions.(bang)

I think it is just a lamp test.

If you have small child sit in the passenger seat,
or a lighter person.. that light should turn on and stay on, telling you the passenger airbag is disabled.. i.e.
maybe dangerous to a child in case of collision.

Just put a bag of groceries or something on the seat, the light should stay on telling you that the airbag is off. It takes about 80 or 90 pounds on the seat to turn the airbag on.

Ahhhhh!! That makes total sense. I was wondering why it was flickering when I was leaning on the seat the other day to get something from the glove box.

Man, I was getting worried too thinking there was a short in the glove box somewhere. WHEW!(cool)

There needs to be a fairly significant amount of weight to trigger it as well. My laptop bag at the beginning of a week normally won't trigger it. After a week's worth of paper work is jammed in there my 40+ lbs laptop bag will set it off.

B13? No idea.
It's an old pencil and paper RPG name of mine. Character was from the clan of the crane and tsuru means crane in Japanese. (Yes I'm a geek)

Ok, just checking. A b13 is a 91-94 Nissan sentra. In mexico they were called the Tsuru.

Im a B13 se-r driver thats why I ask. Tsuru is a very common term used among the forums I frequent.

Howdy.

There's a .pdf version of the 2009 Mazda5 Owner's Manual available HERE.

The .pdf manual is compressed into a .rar archive, so you will need either WinRar (Windows) or Rar Expander (Mac) to extract the file. Both are free, IIRC. When you go to expand the archive, you will be asked for a password. It's freepdfdownload.net.

Cheers!

Hi,

I found a PDF copy on Mazda.ca website. There are manuals for many models 2001 and up.

Go to : Parts & Service / Owner Info / Owner's manual

You could either save it or print it (2 pages per side of sheet).

Genius! Thanks.

[Edit:] Although it should be noted that there are evidently some differences between the Canadian and US models, and those are reflected in the manual.
