Part Number/Cost for OEM Roof Rack - Spoiler?

:
2008 Mazda5 GT
Anyone know the part number and cost of a replacment 'wind noise reduction spoiler' for a 1st gen OEM rack? The front rack has 3 smaller ones and the rear has a larger one. Thanks.

i never knew these existed until i wanted to sell the rack and was asked about the wind reducer. i guess i should have paid more attention when we got ours back from the dealer after service and install, or either i will find it in a box one day still in the packaging. i never had any problem with wind noise, but i didn't know any better either cuz i never had them. ours was a 2007 with the large thule cargo carrier. looks like around $80 to $90 from what i could find online for the fairings but there are a handful on ebay too, depending on the model number, that may be an option. btw, still have the rack if anyone is interested.

Just wanted to add the OEM 'wind noise reduction spoiler' makes a hell of a difference. Even positioning them incorrectly will cause a drastic difference in noise/turbulence up top! I do not prefer fairings b/c it is another object that gets in the way of and needs washing but it does look cool.

It's been stated that wrapping a bungee cord around each bar will reduce wind noise as well. Probably works like the spiral around some car antennas.

I've read this too. Can someone who has done it comment on this? Is there a particular way to wrap the cord?

Btw, I still have all of my rack spoilers but was thinking of picking up another rack without them for cheap. Maybe I can try the bungee thing to see if I can hear a difference, but is there a proper way of doing it?

From what I understand hook it on one crossbar end, wrap it around like a barber pole about half a dozen times, then hook it to the other end. Simple as that. I haven't had my roof rack installed in over a year, so I can't check.
