OMG! WW evo hood has bonus features for the MSP!

damn matt... it looks alright... but for suggestions... if you do the 2003.5 wing, you have to get the 2003.5 lip... otherwise it really looks out of place in terms of aerodynamics. There was a reason the 2003.5 got a lip!

For me, you should have went all black.... and put on white rims.... MR7 forged woulda been sick.... woulda matched the white trim around the hood holes!

The hood holes are polished aluminum...And the front emblem is chrome now...I might paint it black though.It goes with the polished Injen and polished hardpipes.The white would look horribble on my car.Black or gunmetal would look so much better.I just want to see what it looks like with the black roof.That will be the kicker on the whole look.We will see when it happens.If I dont like it then I will go back to the stock trunk and spoiler.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me the seemingtly widespread facsination with carbon fiber... Weight??? Is a cutting a few extra lbs going to really make that much of a difference? Personally, the black hood on a car that's not already black is definitely a love it or hate it type of thing. Though I don't think this looks THAT bad... I could never see myself doing it to my beloved Speed. (which is orange as well) I mean, I GOT the orange one for a reason!! I will say this... the dual slot hood, though in desperate need of black inserts instead of shiny silver ones, does look badass. (would look even if it was orange WITH black inserts... oh hell yeah!!! someone make that s*** and I'll buy it!!! Don't even care how much it is!! (to an extent of course) Someone gave Force props for being different... I'll second that. Everyone's got an oppinon and, to a man, the only one that really matters is his own. (at least, in regards to this sort've thing) so my... and everyone else's oppinion means jack. For what it's worth, if you're going to leave the hood and trunk... I feel your car needs something more to balance it out. I didn't simply want to leave it at that so I toyed around with photopshop to see what it would look like with a black roof with matching a & c pillars. Through in some 20% tint and... well, it looked pretty ****** stupid!! After a few more unsuccessful tries... well, it it was me, I'd have the trunk, 03.5 spoiler (that looks cool) AND hood painted back to orange... you got an orange car for a reason!! the more black you make it... the more you probably should have got THAT color. You've got the right idea with the hood and 03.5 spoiler. now just finish the job and add a little orange and your car will totally kick ass.

Hey,everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect this.I still dont know how I feel about it.When I did it on friday,I hated it but it has grown on me over the last 24 hours.I think I need the roof done and the wheels to see what the overall look would be.

any way, i think if the parts were painted the car color it would look best as the base color itself is already attention grabbing and unique on its own.

You guy's have it all wrong...I DID NOT paint the CF black!The hood is still CF....The trunk is another trunk I had painted Balck MICA to go with the CF hood...Trying to keep a theme going.I didnt paint any CF on the car.I also still have the stock hood and trunk/spoiler.I was just experimenting with the color scheme to see how it would look.I think I kinda like it,but it is definately different.I need the roof done and the wheels to make it look right.It will come in due time.

I have no intentions on painting the A+C pillars.Doing the roof is the only thing I am going to consider.That along with the black or gun metal wheels will complete the look.

i know exactly what you did, and it looks terrible. i wasnt mistaken, i knew it was black mica, which looks like some guy near me that painted his hood black to look like CF.

Well, I think it looks pretty good actually. I like contrasting, clear colors. I do think it'd be cooler if you went with a CF trunk though, painting it black kinda makes it look like you are trying to fake it being CF, whether it's your intention or not. I dunno whether or not it'd look better with a black roof, the orange on the roof kinda helps the contrast some. I'd be interested to see a photoshop with the black roof.

Well I had every intention of the trunk and spoiler being done in CF but I got royally screwed on that one.I may get the trunk down the road to do exactly what i wanted but when I started all of this the trunk was not in existance.I was definately not going for a ricer look but after mt CF deal fell through I felt i had to get this stuff on the car and get some use out of the parts I had lying around for soo long.I respect your opinion and I hope you can do the same.
And yes I was wondering how long before someone yelled out "BOO!"

i can respect it, but just put the stock stuff back on and ebay the crap...i can understand getting royally screwed...but thats like me trying to buy a turbo kit, and the person screwing me and selling to someone else so i go and buy the electric supercharger off ebay
