But you didn't factor in the cost of labor to install the springs thats usually as much as the springs. Unless of course you have a spring compressor and plan on doing it yourself.

you can do it yourself, dont need a spring compressor, the hardest part is to remove the stock springs, use the car wheight to remove the springs. Once you remove them, the ibachs are so easy...i mounted them by hand...

I always do all my own work ..i have never ever had a dealer or shop work on my ride ... springs are a sinch ... and igdrasil .. yes you do need one if you want to be safe .. i have done enough to knwo and i'll gladly send you pictures of a man that did that and when he was buried it had to be closed casket since the spring lodged so far in his head ..it poked right throught the other side ...and i have a little one to watch out for and need to be around for her .. so when mentioning how to do work and advising someone how to work on there car ..please tell them the safe way ..since this man was a machanic for over 20 years and just wanted to get it done fast and the spring commpressers where 10 feet away from him when he died he ws just to lazy to use them

even with the compressors (wich I used) anything can go bad if you dont use them correctly

Not an advice, but if not using the compressor...

just release all 5 top screws (each front sides) before raising the car :D

after releasing them, raise the car NICE AND SLOW...you will notice the spring and strut will be completely loose. If you dont release the strut, the spring will still be compressed anyway.

Take all out, rims, bolts screws like if you were changing struts. get the spring out, put the eibachs in and press it down untill you see the strut so you can put the screw back and tight it.

Then, put them back on the car.

REMEMBER...this is only with eibachs, I dont know the others. You will not need a compressor for the eibachs

well i am not quite sure who you are giving the instructions to here since i already mentioned that I have done plenty and i knwo what and how your talking abotu it is still dangerous and I mean the spring compressers only add about 5 mins extra per tire so . its much better to use them since in the event that there is an accident the price is quite costly or atleast more then 1/2 the time it is
