sorry to dig up an old thread, but that trust grex knob boils my blood, i must have one... i found a BUNCH on ebay... they say fits most honda models though, does anyone know if the thread pattern is the same or is it specific?

Got this in my P5,looks nice but like MOMO,it's a bolt-on...so I'm replacing it w/ a RAZO weighted knob which will go along w/ a Kartboy SS,I'm gettin soon.

I'll get pics of my voodoo custom engraved shift knob once it arrives. I'm surprised that more people aren't using it. I had 2 different ones in my old Miata and they were awesome. They are metal, though, so they get cold in the winter, and hot in the sun. But their exceptional quality and lack of set-screws is what sell them for me. Pics soon...

sorry to ask so much but this is honetly a VERY important mod for me because the comfort of my hand on my shifter as well as feel actually differs my driving tyle a great deal.

I didn't think that mazda changed the lever between 2003 and 2003.5 when they changed the style of the knob, but I suppose it's possible - you could either find an 03 knob to try onto the kartboy lever that you have, or ask around if the MSP kartboy lever is supposed to fit 03.5 model MSP knobs
what is more likely is kartboy may have sent you a lever for a non-MSP protege
if they did this, what will probably happen when you try to put your knob on it is you push down but the threads are too far up inside the knob to grab

I just picked up the MOMO Raptor shift knob And I really like it, plus the price was cheap. Retail: $90.00 / EBAY: $32.00 It also matches the inteior of the MSP very well, the suede on knob fits right in with the suede on the seats.

bought the trust grex for 40 beans at a local shop! will take pics... except i was stupid and messed up the sticker (don't ask)... anyone know how i could possibly find a sticker for the trust grex knob???????????????????????

no i tightened it down and the sticker was kinda sideways, so i asked the guy at the shop to pop it off so i could csrew down the shifter all the way and the reapply the sticker. he started to pop it off and it kinda bubbled up wrong so i felt bad since i made him do it and i bought it. then like a dumbass i realized that i was a tard and just stiffed a few scraps of paper in there and now it sits perfectly fine but i's still kinda bubbled up. the sticker is blue anyway so i knida wanted the white one (since there's no black or yellow.) and they don't have them on ebay :-( (nuts)
