so long as YOU have insurance.. they'll cover it and have to sue the piss out of that idiot to get their money back.
you're 0% at fault, so you shouldn't be bothered with any bills, beyond your deductible, anyways.

that looks about right. when my car was slammed into by the drunk driver, there was about 3500 worth of damage to the front driver side and the entire front suspension
 
i got quotes from 1500 to 2500 for a wrinkled fender and a scratched bumper cover. his damage looks to be about double mine. i'm saying about 3 g's.
 
Yea im going to say 1600 for the bumper and a rough frame pull plus paint then the hatch plus paint and blend ill say 2400 to maybe upwards of 3 gs

Depends on what it would take to fix the rear hatch over the cost of a new hatch. Ethier the whole thing has to be painted and blended to look right.
 
well i'm taking the car into the body shop monday, so we'll see then, good thing i'm only paying $250 for my uninsured motorist deductable (and the my insurance company is gonna sue the pants off of the guy to get all of our money back). i don't think there is too much frame damage. the frame is just bent a little where it connects to the bumber. too bad my insurance adjuster is reserving the rental for me, i wanted a mazda 6 but i don't think enterprise rent a car has them. i'll prolly end up with a sunfire or aveo or some piece of s***.

well i got my rental, and took my car to the body shop. i got a dodge durango SLT with the magnum v8, hahahaha this thing is ******* huge!
 
now remember, dont go hittin anything or else you'll look like an ass for makin fun of truck/suv drivers. lol
any word on cost to fix?

hahaha yeah talk about irony, the body shop is gonna do the estimate today or tomorrow. i'll call and ask cuz i'm pretty curious about it too
 
ok the insurance company called me back, the total came out to $3,251.14 or something like that. they're going to have to replace the hatch and the bumper, yay new stuff!
