No precious metal plugs in a turbo car :).. They tend to glow and lead to detonation.. I have heard that the iridium are better than Platinum, but i still don't trust them. I have posted the # for a standard NGK plug that I would recommend running at anything above stock boost.

I've run a heat range 6 Denso iridium in a Supra @ 28.5 psi...so IMHO they're good!!!just don't get the crappy Bosch platiniums, they're junk!!!

You had good luck with iridiums? That is good to hear. I have always read NO precious metal plugs of any sort.. I know platinums are a big no-no from reading and experience. I just heard/read no about iridium, but personally never tried them.

The Denso Iridiums are basically what HKS been selling all these years as fine wire projected racing plugs...at 35-$40 a pop..and guess who made it for them???????:p

if you guys are running low boost,(any thing under 18 psi), any NGK or Denso copper throw away plugs will do, under $2.00 each!!!! want to make sure they fire..close the gap to 0.032"....change them every few thousand miles:)

That is all I ever use is NGK coppers. I will have to try the iridiums in my Talon next. I have been running 27-28 psi on race fuel for a while now with no problems on copper though.

well because of the fine wire design, they need less voltage to fire, they don't foul as easy ..overall...very good plugs

Thanks-I'll have to give them a shot!! How about life? Burn the wire down quick?
