You should be very happy wiht that system.
All great products, well done!

You did get 3 sets of 5 meter RCAs right?

Image Dynamics have such a huge online following (check sounddomain for posts), they would make a killing if they could get their products into stores. I'm considering their subs for my next install, but I will not buy a set of components w/o hearing them.

5 meters ~ 15 ft.
You need 3, 5 meter long car audio RCA connectors to get the signal from your head unit to the amps.

Take the 300/4 for example its $499 retail and gives you 75 x4 rms at 12 volts. The alpine MRV-F540 is $599 and only give you 50x4 rms at 12 volts. So the JL gives you 50% more power then the alpine and for $100 less.

the only difference is that the alpine mrv-f450 is a 5 channel amp. it pushes 50X4 + 200X1. that is why it is $100 more. i have this amp in my p5, but i did not spend $600, i got it for $475 brand new. so actually the alpine gives you one more channel and 200 watts more for only $100 more. now that sounds like a deal.

the 450 may be 5 channels, but the 540 definately isnt.......its 4, i had one in my last car. its marketed as 4x80, i believe, but is only rated for 50watts/channel at 12 volts.

03_es is correct look at my post I said 540 not 450. The 450 allthough has even less power per channel then the 450.

Those Denon HUs remind me of Nakamichi. Really plain and really desirable. If they're anything like the home theater products Denon makes, WOW!

Pioneer seems to be the most impervious to skipping.
