Is that why I couldnt get the nut all the way tight last night when I put the fronts together? So do you think I really was moving the bolt when I was using the breaker bar but it was moving the whole thing instead?

will do lol

hey...freakin s*** man...cant get it off, so I tried to see if I can get the srtut out with the end link still attched, that was a no go. So I really dont know what else to do at this point.

you might just have to hose it down w/ some penetrating lubricant (LOL) and let it sit for an hour or so...

yeah, thats what im doing right now. but wont the whole thing just continue to turn? I think I would have been better off if I had never sprayed it.

you might need 2 people. 1 to have a good hold on the allen wrench and another to crank the bolt.

well i tried just having the allen wrench sit against the strut so it wouldnt move and I still couldnt do anything, the other wrench was slipping. Only if I could use the allen wrench and the breaker bar I would be done by now! Im gonna have to wait for my dad to get home I guess, which means late afternoon allignment and wash, which means no day pics untill tomorrow:(

So, heres where im at. Stuck. Tried to take the strut out with the end link connected and its currently just sitting on the sway bar and still not enough room to get it out.

can you compress the spring while its in there and get some of the tension off the strut maybe? or is the strut itself to long?

Strut is too long itself. Its still up in the tower, I think its more like a foot of clearance I still need. I just want the damn nut off so I can start working on swaping the springs:(

maybe try keeping the nut stationary w/ one hand and trying to turn the allen wrench?

Tried, almost broke the allen wrench. I mean its hard enough to turn it with the breaker bar, with something as short as an allen wrench its gonna be a b****.
