2003 Mazda Protege 5
I recently bought a 2003 Mazda Protege 5. I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on modding it. It's a white one and a standard. Will post pics of it soon. What would you recommend me doing first. It's completely bone stock. Has 139xxx miles on it. Like I said i just want some help on what i should do to my car to make it nicer and faster.

First off welcome to the forum. If you want your P5 to be faster, start looking for a stock MSP turbo kit. I have seen several in the for sale threads. Aside from that you could do a V-6 swap. Don't bother with the typical bolt-on parts (intake, header, exhaust) it still wont be faster. Upgrades to the suspension are always money well spent.

Thanks man and I wanna do an engine swap before a turbo because like I said stock everything and that means the engine is stock as well and has 139xxx miles on it. Have you ever seen someone on their P5 have a twin exhaust. I think it would look nice, but I would like a second opinion.

I think it could look nice with the right rear bumper. Pretty sure there is only the cutout on one side so it would look goofy if you had one cut out but two tips coming out. I passed a newerish VW gti with dual exhaust from factory and it looked good so I am sure as long as you do it right it will look good.
