We just bought a Mazda5 GT in white. Before Saturday we were going to buy a Kia Sorento, but getting a lot of run around from the dealers. On Sat I ran across an article about the 5, and we decided to take a look. Our main reason for getting one was for our new dog (9 mo. old American Bulldog) This dude is getting big and out growing our caliber. The wife liked the looks and leather interior better than the low end Sorento we were looking at and the rest is history. Funny part was that we've been working on the Sorento for over a month and I knew the ins and outs very well The 5 comes along and 2 days later it's sitting in the garage. Crazy how things work sometimes. Right now the dealer is giving me good deals on all the accessories and was thinking about getting the homelink /auto dimming mirror. I would assume that the harness is already in place for it, but wondering if anyone knows for sure?

Welcome to the forum! Glad to hear you like the 5. The Sorento's a good car but unless the pavement around your area is glass smooth it gets pretty jittery.

Will the accessories be dealer installed? If it is, you can let them sort out the harness issue

Haha That's why I was asking about the harness. If it's a simple matter of running a wire from the mirror around and down to a plug no sweat, but if I need to cut into wires I'll pay the $80
