New Mazda map?

Interesting, the last map available was January 2020. Anyone have luck finding a newer map? It's 6 months already since the last one. Thanks.

In the past, new mapping data was released in January and again in July. I have no reliable source about the issue, but suspect that the update frequency changed to yearly.

covid probably. The maps are not built by Mazda but by a 3rd party company.

Upgraded in Jan 2020. This update was worse than the previous version for my area. Speed limits were over the posted limits and the previous version was more accurate. Hope the new version corrects those errors.

Also have the January 2020 map version but my 3 year subscription expired in May. Not sure it's worth upgrading to every new map - especially since I upgraded to the Android Auto feature but it requires a smart phone connected via USB cable.

Navigation maps are updated for September

https://infotainment.mazdahandsfree.com/navigation-updatemymaps?language=en-US I just updated mine like 2 weeks ago. I assumed mine would have been the (then) latest from Jan 2020 since I bought my car at the end of June but they weren't.
