I honestly have not tested it on an MSP to tell you "how much spike" to expect, maybe someone here can chime in. It is better than the XZ in applications that tend to be "spikey", but it is almost impossible to put an exact number on it. 9 out of 10 times spike isn't really the controller, it is the application. The MSP, WRX, etc. have dinky turbos that spool up extremely fast and when a ball and spring controller is used in these applications, they tend to spike a bit. The only way to stop it is to slow the spool which isn't always possible. Bleeder type controllers spool slower, so they tend to spike less but they don't give the same performance of a ball and spring. The fast spool of a ball and spring controller is one of the things that makes them such a popular design in the first place. To be honest, even with my blitz DSBC that I had in my MSP, it would spike like crazy unless I turned the spool all the way down- but then it felt too sluggish with the slow spool and it still spiked a bit anyway. It isn't always something that is 100% avoidable in some applications.

Like I said, best bet would be to get feedback from someone here who has used one already, I know for a fact there are a few MSP people with them. Hope this helps somewhat. Thanks.

All I can say is that the inline controller spikes way less than the XZ. I'd say around 1 psi (instead of 2.5-3)
 
Thanks for replying! I am glad someone with an MSP was able to put an actual number on it. Between the bleed hole being smaller and the inline design being less restrictive, I knew it would help reduce spike to an extent in certain applications, but I cannot test it on everything personally and get the numbers you just gave me. Keep in mind that the OEM setup already spikes 1 psi (on my car at least) and that on top of it, which makes it around 2 psi in all. But that's with hard acceleration. Otherwise, it hardly spikes at all!
