New 5 for my family

Hi All, I have been lurking here for a month since we purchased our 5. We love it! Thanks to everyone for your tips and opinions. They helped us decide which model/year we wanted within our price range. I look forward to contributing to the forum.

Welcome to you both. Great to have so many of us Canadians on this forum. It truely is an awesome forum where all of us seem to care about our 5's and love to share our knowledge and opinions.

Surprisingly few crankypants as well

We bought our 07 GT 5 speed from Brian Jessel BMW in July 09. Only had 18000km and one year of ownership. Tell us about your 5, RnD. Year, model colour, transmission, new or used, mods or plans to mod, likes and dislikes. Anything that stimulates conversation is good.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! We bought our M5 privately. Its an '08 in Stormy Blue. 5 spd AT, with only 14000 kms. Just today I went and had the windows tinted and it looks really nice!
