I suggest you get this one:

But that rubbish cone filter have to be thrown away.
Buy that intake and then get yourself a Ractive or K & N cone filter seperately.

That looks exactly like the Ractive Super Flow intake that I have..

go look at my car domain site.. same one

This is the intake i got for my protege. with the buy it now, and shipping to Hawaii, it came out to a little under 55 dollars. I chose this one, because shipping to Hawaii was good for this intake, and the hoses were the color i wanted, Black.

Good company to do business with, my intake came in, in less than 5 days.

This one does go into the fender well, just barely enough to get the clamp and the filter on. Although, my original intent for it was to be a short ram intake, so i cut off the end piece, and made it into one. I just got it for the black sleeves, and good shipping to Hawaii.

As a cold air intake, it installs pretty easily, and sounds great, even with the filter it comes with. Although i changed mine out to a generic red filter that i got from a shop down here to go with my engine bay.

Another reason to get this kit, along with a good review by one of the members of the forum, is the seller has 100% positive feedback. No problems from anyone.

sheesh...25 bucks to ship a box thats less than 5 pounds 100 miles down the road...no thank you. i'll see maybe if he'll let me pick up so i can by pass shipping...hell...i'll be up that way this weekend. that may be a good deal otherwise. my sri ebay intake only cost 10 bucks to ship it to me...which was sweet cause i paid 30 total with shipping for it.

Here's mine

My brother bought it for my birthday at http://www.cartoka.com for like $45.

It's almost identical to the $100+ kits I've seen. I do plan to upgrade the filter eventually, but for now I kinda like the red.

Or for about $8 you can go to Lowes or Home Depot and pick up some dryer ducting and mod your airbox. Cheap, yet functional. (first)
