i found a guy on craigslist in my area looking to get rid of his lowered suspension setup and go back to stock height. after talking to him a little bit, i know the guy because i bought his powder coated stock rims off of him about a month or so ago. he purchased the car already dropped. he says it LOOKS like lowering springs on stock shocks/struts, but he isn't too sure because he's only had the car about 6 months.
is there any way for me to tell by looking at them what kind of springs they are, and what the shocks are? he's willing to swap straight across with no money exchanged. i've raised a few trucks and can't imagine lowering a car is THAT much different, plus we have some awesome write ups on here. and he is 20 years ASE certified so i'm not worried about getting the work done. i'm just worried about the quality of parts, i'd be the 3rd owner of the springs and he doesn't know how many miles the previous owner put on them.
any help would be great
thanks fellas
