i like the monotone better on silver, plus it is easier to paint. i think it came out pretty good. there are a couple things that could have come out better, but overall for a replica, i am satisfied. i saved about $2,000 over the cost of getting the genuine kit, so i am ok with it!!
one thing i like about this kit versus the genuine kit is the fact that the rear is a complete bumper, not an add-on to the stock one. and they incorporated small vents into the sides of the rear bumper too.
I was about to say i hope he is going to make it out to the pine mountain meet the car looked hot before at the air force museum meet i bet it looks even better now
I was ridin by CSU like I do everyday and I was thinking damn, that would be a good place to take some pictures.(same parking lot). Looks good though! (first)
i need to get 2 brackets cuz i hit a possum the night i got it back from the shop. now i have a slightly larger gap under the driver headlight and the corner will not stay in all the way. it broke the bracket that supports the bumper under the headlight along with the bracket that secures the side of it to the car under the fender. i was pretty pissed, but if your car is as low as mine is, you have to accept the fact that you are gonna hit s***. luckily no damage was dont to the bumper itself. but the paint in that area was not so lucky. it now has stress cracks, but it isnt too bad. i just gotta be as careful as possible. hopefully i will have it fixed before the pine mountain meet. i ordered all the parts yesterday and they should be here on thursday or friday.
again thanks for all the compliments.
