My Brothers MSP got in a huge accident!!!

Well his gf was driving to school, and she was stopped in traffic. A new honda mini van slammed into the car behind her, pushed it into her, pushed her under a BMW sedan, which hit another car.

So the car is prob gonna be a total loss. Still runs and drives, but is all messed up. Here are some pics. I will be keeping the car for me to either fix or part out. It was in such good shape with 105k on it, and it sucks its done. She was taken outta the car on a board with a neck brace on, she went to the hospital and they said everything looked good right now. But she will be in pain for the next few days.

This was also there only car, as she gave her car to the shop she took it to, to get fixed and didnt wanna get it fixed. Im mega mad as I put in massive amounts of time into making that car nice.

Yea she is sore as of right now, hopefully will get better and not have issues down the road. As for the MSP i really dont wanna junk/part it out. I think im a try to fix it. Or see what my friend in body work says

Glad to hear that the driver is ok. Hate to see that happen. I think its fixable but that will be expensive. Too bad it happened in Jersey where you have to use your own insurance for bodily injury and property damage and recovery is based on your limits. I wonder what that stupid ass minivan driver was doing, besides not paying attention?

It would prob be racist of me to say what the driver was, cause they cant drive around here and are always crashing into everything. Sooo on that note, yea my buddy works at a body shop and said he will come take a look at it, and let me know if its even worth trying to fix. My bro is prob gonna try to find another car, maybe msp again, maybe ill buy it from him and try to fix it, at least with me, being a mechanic and having connections might be able to get it somewhat back together for cheaper then him.

Looks like he will be getting 6700, and I will be buying the car back for 500 bucks. He wants another Mazda, gotta get looking.

6700 is kind of low. It would be about right if he was going to sell it, but you can't find a car that you'd actually want to buy for that. I've had two cars that were totaled out and both times I brought in all my paperwork for the cars including all maintenance and upgrades I've done and talked them up a couple grand.

But $500 is a good deal to part out. Should make a decent profit on that, as long as you don't mind the work.
