So i was on my was to my gf's today, some guy decided to make an illegal u-turn and unfortunately i did not see him until it was too late. :-( :-(

yeah im hoping it isnt totaled, having insurance come out this week, we got a lawyer as well....im not sure i have gap insurance but that would be nice, im checking that out too...ill keep you guys updated. Id hate to leave the mzazdafamily even temporarily!! sorry typing with my left hand, my other hand is kinda messed up atm

Depending on the year, its prob. gonna be totaled, Air bag deployed and might have frame dmg. hope its not tho and its ruled that guys fault, and that he has insurance.

on the pas side, window smushed by air bag.......yeah frame i bet is tweaked and each air bag popped adds over $1k to dammage....which usually totals.....you shouldn't have to worry about to much....should be alllll the other guys fault

No I didn't hit my head, my hand did but the windshield busted is from the air bag, and I'm just concerned bc I still owe. $ on the car, If I had gap insurance id be set and probably would be driving a speed6 haha

Sorry. How bad is your hand? If he was cited and the police reports are clear that it was his fault, you shouldn't have to pay for anything. That may take some time, however, and you might have to be persistent with his insurance company (and it may take longer than you'd like).

even if you were to still owe....the other guys insurance should more than pick up the tab especially since you were hurt....if they try to screw you take it to small claims

well right now we are going through my insurace to get the rental car bc i needed something to drive, of course i pick the mazda 3 on the lot...its def now 6...but anyhow we spoke to a lawyer so far and waiting to hear from the apraiser...with no gap insurance if the car is totaled im kind of screwed but well see bout that, my right hand hit the windsheild and i have a few stitches and cuts, left arm got 2nd degree burns from the air bags...and idk what the police report says or if the guy was even cited, ill have to find out when i go to the precint to get a copy of it

Derrick- I just got an invoince for the car and yeah the front damage put it over the limit, it was abour $9k+ in total for labor and parts to fix the car. The car will be paid off tomorrow....which is a relief and then I will be getting a chack for the remainder whenever my insurance comapny decides to send it to me....i have a sorry ass insurance comany. I got a new car, its a 1990 checvy caprice station wagon....i know, freaking brady bunch s*** lol...when I get time ill post pics for your guys amusement and now begins the savings now that i dont have a car payment, once i get the money from my lawsuit....well all i can say will be ZOOM FREAKING ZOOM!
