My Apologies to MSP Owners

Ok, I'm pretty bullheaded, but here goes. If this turns into another MSP section flame war, ill just delete this post.

I feel bad for raggin on your MSP owners all the time. It's not that I dont like you, and its CERTAINLY not because i dont like your cars, i do. I know i interject on a lot of your posts and you get offended because you have your own little clique. And thats cool, just understand i dont surf via sections, i surf via the un-biased right hand section.

I think several reasons sparked my flaming of MSP owners, so let me explain before I truly apologize. I get a little heated very quick. Nothing pisses me off more than someone who is dishonest, or someone that makes themself out to be better than they are online because that is the cool thing to do. The ridiculous posts about beating everything under the sun yet all the complaints from some of the same people about how crappy this or that was, got to me. Not to mention, I love this forum and I wished that everyone posted in the proper sections to benefit everyone in the future. Thats why i pmmed enry and asked to become a mod in the MSP section. Not to piss people off, not because i needed "the power" as some mentioned, and not to **** with you guys. Simply to try to help out. I had no idea it would cause such a s*** storm.

But this is neither here nor there, because there is no need to start another flame war about SRT-4s, 1/4 times, wrong posts, etc etc.

I just wanted to apologize for what its worth, because im not trying to cause a rift between different mazda sections, or between people that i was friends with that now seem to hate me (read: Tease, and others). I've tried to be more positive towards the MSP community by saying "good kill", and giving what i think is good advice. But im just told to stay in my section. So like i said, for what its worth, im sorry. A lot about our cars are very similar, and id like to give some advice, help out with photoshop, etc, when possible. I'll still call out the ridiculous posts, but enough with some of the immature people that follow me around and attempt to flame every post i make. I've been through hell in Iraq, i dont think any post from any member is gonna really hurt me, so just give it up.

I've offered my apology, now i just hope MSP owners in general can accept it.

thats my point, some of you have serious issues. i have the decency to apologize, and you have to be a total moron.

You better feel damn good since I stayed awake to read this. :D

It takes a man to make fun of someone and the stuff he/she likes (ie: cars) but it takes a bigger man to apologize for his actions. I think many of your actions/posts/whatever have made with good intentions. However, some things from your past have many of us keyed up and on the edge when it comes to what you do and what you say.

Hell, I have enough s*** happening in my life right now, so God knows I'm not here to create/get involved with drama. For what it's worth, I apologize too and hope many of the member's actions here will speak louder than their words in the near future. As for me, I'm going to stop living on this damn board and maybe I'll quit becoming so involved with this stuff.

I have Xanax kicking my ass now so I'm off to bed.

Being new around here I simply have no idea what the problem was, but I appreciated your comments regarding the problem with my new MSP.

Its a good post. MSP owners do catch a lot of that sh*t flying out of the fan. So yeah, hats off to ya razor. Personally I don't mind alot of their posts; i just stop reading if its crap.

I for one completely understand where you are coming from and I know this was sparked by my recent comment.
I for one accept this as an apology.
I also understand the need to post in the correct section to keep the board operating at its full potential.
Some questions or posts are meant to be viewed by certain people in certain sections so as to get the proper feedback on the topic.YES,they MAY fit in some other section but are really meant to be viewed a certain place. This should be up to the person who posted it ,if it is a borderline thread that could be posted in two different sections,to where he (or she)thinks they will get the most accurate feedback on the topic.
Please help to keep this board running up to its potential yet let us determine where SOME things need to be posted.
Thanks,
Matt;)

It ain't no thang man. Thanks for the apology though. I think most people know you are just trying to help out. (usa)

Thanks, at least some people had decency to respond :)
i was thinking everyone just might ignore it :)

good im glad, you were one of the ones i was hoping to mend with.

I'm not sure if you did anything so serious that it required an apology in that sense. But hey, takes a man to do so, so props to ya.

I agree with a majority of what you say in most posts. SRT f'n 4 threads, and pathetic msp kills and the like are too common, but do have their place in the right section and such, and your right in that sense. I don't always post in every thread, but I assure you I do read just about everything here, and somethings are clearly in the wrong section at times. But where do we draw the line right? Everyone is entitled to their opinions on any topic, but if ya got nuttin good to say......shut up :)

Anyhow I'm tired/drunk and I really shouldn't be awake anymore.....and I forgot what my point was going to be????? maybe I'll finish this tomorrow.

.....what were we talking about? :)

Lets just move on shall we.

burp!

ps. Still love your car!

Never was a issue.

Never had any issues with you Razor. I'm a smartass to some of your post, but it's just harmless humor. I respect that you served or country to protect our freedom over in Iraq. I'm still new to the forums but I come here for information, use as a guide and or to laugh.

I enjoy being in communities like this. Without the internet we wouldn't meet others with the same common interest that we share all across the country. In this case it would be a Mazda owner. Not oh I have a MSP,MP3, Protege, Miata, RX-8 and etc. so I'm better then you. So far these forums I've meet alot of enthusiasts from all over the country and even some local. I even found the wires necessary to tap in for my gauges on here. Without that I would have been lost and have to go down to the dealership just to be told "well your warranty will be voided if you did that".

So anyways! Thanks for being helpful Razor and the rest of members of these forums. Plus once I get some pics together I need you to make me a sig (hint!hint!):D

I think some MSP owners do deserve a good flaming. Personally the only thing that pissed me off was seeing all of your posts related to the MSP bashing it and stating how the car wasn't worth it, slow, and in general posts reeking of negativity. That just wears on me. There are some downsides to the MSP as the case is with many cars but it just gets tired quickly when all you hear is negativity.

Good call on the appology and just realize that not all msp owners claim they are going to beat the Apollo 11 Shuttle in the 1/4 mile and that many are here to take the time to learn and contribute to the forum.

You're right. Most people are cool as s***, and my little <img src="http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/mp5/mspsuck.gif"> was just a joke all the time. I never used it being serious. But i see how a new member might see that and not realize that i was kidding...which is why i quit using it
