Hey. Yours broke didn't it. Mine did at least. Had to get a new tool ($20), and get it shipped 2nd day ($18). It arrived ground about 4-5 days late anyways, I have it now, and I've taken those pos things off. If you need it, I would be glad to maybe ship it to you if you wanna use it and ship it back to me... that is unless you want to keep using those lugs and that pos tool.
I didn't loose it, it broke. It broke putting the lugs on, with a torque wrench.
It split down the side, 250 miles from home after a weekend at the track. Luckily a 6 point 17mm Cressent brand socket slid right over the lugs and I was able to finish installing them.
I still need to remove my track pads and do a fluid change after I can remove these lugs.
Yup. Same way mine broke... just putting them on myself w/wrench. So do you need the asap shipping, or will ground do ok? I'll get it sent out tomorrow.
While I was waiting for lasermp3's key to arrive, I thought I would try and repair the one I have. I like the lugs, just not the key.
After searching the garage for a few minutes, I found a small piece of tube that was pretty close to the O.D. of the key. A few minutes on the lathe and a weld later it was fixed....
It still fits the wheel and appears to be 100x stronger.
******* great lol. Oh well, just send her back I guess. Nice job on the custom fab fix. I thought about somethign like that, but my rims wouldn't allow it without tearing them up good... it's a pretty tight fit
